Maggots Rule!

I blogged just a couple of months ago that the University of York is conducting a trial on the usefulness of maggot therapy at cleaning up & healing infected wounds.

Well, forget the trial -- Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, Wales has 'em productized and on sale. Their homegrown maggot business is so popular with hospitals 'round the UK that they've formed a private company to keep track of it all. The BBC sez ZooBiotic is expected to earn about 10 million pounds within five years.
