"Antibiotics in Action" Online Curriculum for High School Students

A moment of serendipitous Googling landed me on this page of the Chemical Heritage Foundation site. "Antibiotics in Action" is a combination of background info and lab exercises for students, the goal being to follow the path of the heroes of bacteriology in discovering antibiotics. Looks pretty interesting!

The online curriculum draws from a book entitled Pharmaceutical Achievers: The Human Face of Pharmaceutical Research, which can be ordered online from the Foundation. There are other books and educational stuff on the history of chemistry, too.
